Prevention, awareness and wellness the focus of the meeting in Pirelli Hall.
In the bright setting of Regione Lombardia’s Sala Pirelli, the seminar “How to Fight Stress – Prevention and Wellness for a Long and Happy Life” was held recently.
A meeting born with a clear objective: to put the person back at the center, recognizing listening to oneself as the first gesture of health. Opening the morning was Councilor Nicolas Gallizzi, with words that set the tone for the entire dialogue:

“Prevention is culture. Caring is a collective responsibility.” Leading the meeting was Gabriella Chiarappa, who brought our gaze back to an often forgotten concept: “Stress is not dealt with by fighting it, but by learning to read it.
The body speaks to us: it is up to us to listen.”

When different disciplines speak the same language
The seminar featured a team of experts, who were able to offer clear and profound information in an interactive and engaging atmosphere.
The room was not a spectator, but an active part of a shared journey. The speeches showed a common vision:
stress is not an enemy, it is a messenger.
- Dr. Massimo Sartori
He pointed out how stress manifests itself in the body: in the shoulders that stiffen, in the contracted breath, in the changing skin.
The body always warns before giving in. - Dr. Michela Squeo
She explained chronic stress as a gradual process: persistent fatigue, irritability, insomnia-signals to be recognized, not ignored. - Dr. Vittorio Iorno
He introduced the importance of deep oxygenation as a tool for regeneration and rebalancing. - Gilberto Malerba (RE-COMP)
He brought the focus back to mindful movement:
not training “more,” but training right, without exasperation. - Pablo Ardizzone
He touched on the most intimate level: the relationship with one’s own image.
Looking at oneself with kindness is a therapeutic gesture.
Saying to oneself, “I recognize you.”
From theory to everyday life
- Dimensione Salute, presented by Barbara Neglia, showed how quality nutraceuticals and bio-cosmetics can become daily gestures of well-being.
- Mac Clinic, with Michelle Gao, reminded of the importance of places that welcome the person in his or her unity: body, mind, history, habits.
The message that remains
There are no quick fixes.
There are no shortcuts.
There is a first step: listening to what the body is already saying.
The body does not make mistakes.
It points the way.
Listening to him is the real beginning of the cure.
It is prevention.
It is return to self.
