MYTO ROMA: THE NEW GOURMET RESTAURANT THAT REINVENTS ASIA WITH DESIGN AND ENTERTAINMENT

In the beating heart of Rome, along the central Via Arenula, opens Myto, a restaurant that challenges the rules of conventional dining by fusing contemporary Asian haute cuisine, entertainment and striking design. A 360-degree immersive experience, where every detail-from the menu to the ambience, from service to lighting-is part of a sensory journey that begins at the table and continues with entertainment.

Behind this innovative concept are three names that speak the language of international excellence: Francesco Hong, dining room manager and visionary mind; Ye Lingjun, executive chef with a nomadic and creative palate; and Alex Zhang, sushi master with a refined technique. Together they bring to life a project that, already in its name “Myto,” declares its ambition: to create a contemporary myth of pan-Asian cuisine in Rome.

A MENU THAT TELLS THE STORY OF THE NEW ASIAN STYLE

Myto’s cuisine is a declaration of love for the most sophisticated Asia. The menu, signed by Ye Lingjun, is a creative mosaic of culinary suggestions from China, Japan, Korea and Thailand, with a millimeter balance of aesthetics, textures and scents.

Iconic dishes include Omu-rice-soft omelets on sautéed rice with scallop and seasoned French sausage-and Cheung Fun, delicate rice puff pastry rolls stuffed with shrimp and chives. Not to be missed are the Dim Sumpreparatilive in front of guests: gyoza with lobster or Wagyu, crystal dumplings from the transparent starch sheet sealed hot, and variations coming totally gluten free.

The Thai soul is expressed in the intense aromas of Pad Thai with shrimp and almonds, the Tom Yam (soup and ramen) with coconut and lemongrass, and the vibrant sweet-spicy balance of each dish. The Korean section includes Bibimbap, with rice, vegetables and meat, and fermented Kimchi, a true superfood with a pungent flavor.

Among the specialties that combine taste and trend, the Katsu Sando stands out: soft Japanese shokupan stuffed with a crispy Wagyu cutlet and tonkatsu mustard sauce. A delight for the palate and the eyes.

THE SPACE: IMMERSIVE DESIGN AND CINEMATIC ATMOSPHERES

The experience at Myto begins well before you sit down to eat. The design, by architect Fabio La Commara, reinterprets the space with a theatrical and cosmopolitan approach. An open-fronted ravioli shop in the window welcomes customers already from the street, offering a taste of the craftsmanship that animates the restaurant.

Two floors, two souls: on the ground floor, the airy and monumental central room alternates industrial materials with mirrors, LEDs and iconic furniture pieces such as the large custom chandelier. Upstairs, more intimate and modular rooms accompany after-dinner entertainment with live music, karaoke and evening shows, turning every dinner into a true event night.

ROME’S QUIRKIEST GOURMET DESTINATION

Myto is not just a restaurant: it is a destination. A place where Asian cuisine becomes a spectacle, where design creates wonder, and where the evening does not end at dessert, but continues amid lounge atmospheres and performances. An address that conquers gourmets and night lovers alike, offering a new grammar of quality time.

Myto is open for dinner, with private events and tasting menus available upon request. A promise fulfilled for those seeking high-level, surprising, never predictable cuisine. A journey to the most contemporary Asia, without leaving Rome.
