Italian fashion house Sergio Soldano makes its return to the spotlight during New York Fashion Weekin partnership with Fashion Group International

Born in the late 1960s, the brand founded by Sergio Soldano, loved by international high society and cultural icons such as Liz Taylor, Gina Lollobrigida, Monica Vitti and Virna Lisi

Reborn with a new verve revealed at the presentation of the Fall/Winter 2026-2027 collection at Printemps New York, in partnership with Fashion Group International Inc.

The Sergio Soldano brand was acquired by Desire Holding Group in 2024 and is now led by Co-Creative Directors Giovanni Premoli and Dario Di Bella.

The new management intends to continue Soldano’s legacy by emphasizing Italian heritage, excellent craftsmanship, premium materials and a bold stylistic vision. after decades marks a refined renaissance in women’s luxury.

  • Maison Sergio Soldano’s presentation at Printemps

Set in Manhattan’s Financial District, Printemps https://us.printemps.com/ New York is the perfect location for Sergio Soldano’s collections because of its ability to blend Parisian heritage with contemporary creativity. And it was also the right stage for the new launch.

Prominent figures from the New York fashion world attending the event included FGI President and CEO Maryanne Grisz and Printemps America CEO Thierry Prevost, along with other notable personalities.

Sergio Soldano’s Creative Directors, Giovanni Premoli and Dario Di Bella, were present to personally introduce the collection, joined by Antonio Lemma, founder of Desire Holding, S.A. The elegant audience of Manhattan trendsetters and socialites also included Fern Mallis, Jason Schupbach, Nicole Fischelis, Alyce Panico, Olga Ferrara, Nolan Meader and other VIP guests.

Art Deco sophistication and French charm characterized the Maison’s presentation, in which a live artistic performance brought the collection to life, with Sergio Soldano models interpreting the garments in motion, transforming the presentation into a living tableau.

An evocative violin performance by renowned artist Lauren Cauley, accompanied by the evocative performance of vocalist Minda Larsen, lent merit to the evening, infusing it with emotion and theatrical intensity.

The new collection includes luxury ready-to-wear, footwear, bags and accessories

Rather than repurposing archival silhouettes, the designers interpret the maison’s legacy as a living, evolving language. Each silhouette is conceived from scratch, with accessories and elements entirely rethought and created through high craftsmanship and hand-finishing techniques, new shapes and noble materials – resulting in a renewed aesthetic rooted in Italian excellence.

The collection is developed through four macro-themes that explore ornament as a form of expression and renewal:

  • The Architecture of Black, the Revelation of the Anemone

Black tones, architectural silhouettes, and sculpted volumes in leather and silk define a new confident elegance. A handcrafted leather anemone emerges as a distinctive motif, a symbol of rebirth, resilience, and quiet strength.

  • Genoa: Return to the Origins

A tribute to Maestro Sergio Soldano’s hometown, where historic buildings and monumental urban perspectives are translated into graphic prints on silk and sculptural forms, rooting the rebirth of the maison in its cultural and geographical roots.

Urban geometry meets sartorial precision. Clean lines, functional volumes and vibrant accents define a contemporary wardrobe designed for fluid movement, versatility and modern city life.
