From October 7 to 10, 2025, Sardinia will be at the center of the international wellness scene, welcoming the fourth edition of Synergy – The Retreat Show, the only global fair entirely dedicated to wellness tourism. An event that, after stops in Latin America, Africa and Asia, finally lands in Italy to celebrate its most authentic and symbolic dimension: that which unites art, culture and holistic practices in a transformative and collective experience.
“I am honored to welcome you to my country, to an area with a deep soul like Sardinia,” says excited founder Laura Montesanti, who took Synergy to four continents before bringing it back to its roots. “This special edition will take us to explore how art, creativity and connection can transform not only our businesses, but also ourselves. My own growth was deeply influenced by creative expression, and it is my privilege to share this journey with you.”
A theme inspired by Italian art
The 2025 concept, “The role of art in well-being,” stems from the belief that creativity is a pillar of holistic well-being. A theme that finds fertile ground in Italy, home to timeless masterpieces and a cultural heritage that has inspired and regenerated for centuries.
The event will be held at Is Molas Resort, a Mediterranean setting surrounded by Sardinian nature, where B2B one-on-one meetings, immersive workshops, thematic conversations and holistic sessions will take place. Creative wellness practices such as sound healing, mindful movement, voice activation and artistic improvisation will be on the program.
“The beauty of Italy is that here art is not only in the museums, but lives everywhere: in the streets, in the traditions, in the landscapes. Bringing Synergy to Sardinia means transforming this energy into a living laboratory of longevity and regeneration,” Montesanti adds.

Networking, experiences and shared creativity
Synergy has never been just business. It is a collective experience that weaves together human and professional relationships. The program will also include moments of sociability and artistic contamination, starting with a cocktail reception themed “Sound-Chromatic,” which will feature the special participation of composer Andrea Vanzo. The grand finale, deliberately kept as a surprise, will be an invitation to “unleash the artist within each of us.”
“Every edition of Synergy leaves a mark, but the Italian one will be an embrace: between the international wellness community and the millennial culture of an Island that has made longevity a way of life,” organizers comment.

Synergy Immersions: an exclusive retreat in the heart of Sardinia
For those who want to go beyond the days of the fair, the traditional “Synergy Immersions” extension, hosted at the iconic Su Gologone Hotel in the heart of Barbagia, will be staged Oct. 11-14. An intimate and profound retreat led by such international wellness figures as Ron Hill, Leah Michael and Blue Zones expert Celine Vadam.
It will be a journey made up of regenerative practices, cultural explorations and moments of introspection, where Sardinia becomes a teacher and traveling companion. “Su Gologone is a place that embodies the poetry of the Island. Here the participants will not be mere guests, but part of a community that breathes well-being in every gesture,” the program curators emphasize.
Blue Zones, a natural partner of the event
To seal the link with Sardinia, Blue Zones, a project founded by Dan Buettner that identifies areas of the world where people live longer and better. Among them is Sardinia, recognized worldwide as one of the “blue zones” of longevity.
“Collaborating with Synergy was a natural fit: we both believe that wellness is not a luxury, but an everyday practice that comes from community, authentic connections, and balanced lifestyles,” explain representatives of Blue Zones, the official sponsor of the 2025 edition.
An opportunity for Italy and the tourism of the future
Synergy 2025 is not just an event: it is a strong signal that positions Italy-and Sardinia in particular-as a world reference point in wellness tourism. A constantly growing sector, which more and more travelers are choosing as an answer to the need for regeneration, balance and authenticity.
“The tourism of the future will not only be experiential, it will be transformative,” Montesanti concludes. “People are no longer just looking for places to visit, but for experiences that change the way they live, work and relate. Sardinia is the perfect cradle for this change.”
This October, therefore, the wellness world will look to Synergy – The Retreat Show 2025 as a global laboratory where creativity, spirituality and longevity come together. An event that leaves not just memories, but seeds of transformation destined to grow.
