Catwalk Milan celebrates its 5th edition with style, solidarity and international creativity

The fifth edition of Catwalk Milan, the event that illuminated Milan Fashion Week with a perfect balance between fashion, art and solidarity, ended with great success. In the exclusive setting of the Sala Duomo of the Excelsior Hotel Gallia, among elegance and refinement, the public was able to experience an afternoon dedicated to Italian and international excellence.

The Catwalk Milan catwalk featured creations by some of the most renowned Italian and international designers:

Jamal Taslaq, known for his creative language combining East and West, presented Occirientale, a collection combining Italian design and universal messages written in Arabic, culminating in a symbolic dress inspired by the olive tree, accompanied by the word “Humanity,” a manifesto for peace, dialogue and resilience.

The Alv by Alviero Martini collection pays homage to faded elegance, evoking the couturiers of the 1950s and 1960s, who restored femininity to postwar women with turned-up coats and mended stockings. Thanks to Made in Italy, the ladies of those years could rediscover elegance through details such as matching hats, gloves, shoes and bags. This is not a retro collection, but a contemporary vision that looks to the past, according to the designer’s motto: elegance, not extravagance.

Antonella Bravi presented her 2026 collection, a tribute to Made in Italy silk. The line, which combines luxury, timeless elegance and lightness, explores high-end resort wear with an inclusive language, including modest fashion. Fluid, tailored garments tell the story of contemporary femininity, accompanying the modern woman in moments of travel, relaxation and representation, confirming Bravi as an ambassador of Italian style between tradition and innovation.

Otto & Mezzo Cashmere presented its high-quality Made in Italy cashmere knitwear, underscoring the excellent craftsmanship of the brand founded by Giovanna Arnoldi in 2008. Each garment, handcrafted in Italy with Scottish yarns and wool from goats raised in Mongolia according to sustainable practices, combines timeless elegance and comfort. The collection confirms the brand’s philosophy: style and quality that lasts, going beyond fashions.

Fabio Porliod, an Italian designer known for his elegant and contemporary sartorial approach, presented a collection with refined lines that combine elegance, sensuality and simplicity, designed for cosmopolitan, self-confident women who are passionate about art and culture. Also committed to the social front, he organizes fashion shows with amputee models and women who have faced cancer, turning fashion into a tool for strength, inclusion and empowerment.

The parterre of journalists, buyers, influencers and international guests enthusiastically welcomed the new collections, recognizing Catwalk Milan as a reference platform for established brands and emerging talents.

The event also renewed its solidarity commitment to support theAssociazione Emergenza Sorrisi ETS, which has been carrying out humanitarian surgical missions for children with craniofacial deformities, burns and trauma in emergency settings for more than 15 years. A special fundraiser allowed guests to contribute to this important cause, confirming the social value of the project.

Not only fashion: the day was enriched by the works of artists Pavel Kir and Elena Giunco, who created a bridge between art and couture, while the exclusive cocktail of the best Made in Italy Food & Beverage products, organized and managed by“Mad For Salento,” an Apulian brand that promotes Italian food and wine excellence internationally, celebrated the food and wine of Southern Italy through a tasting of the highest quality between flavors and knowledge, completing the uniqueness of the evening.

Conducting the interviews and part of the evening was journalist and anchor Tania La Gatta, who will produce a 30-minute special dedicated to Catwalk Milan for the TV show Extreme, airing in October.

Conceived by Gianluigi Resta, owner of GR Events & Communication, and directed by the renowned Titti Baiocchi, Catwalk Milan has confirmed its international vocation again this year. After the success of the Shanghai edition last May, the format will continue with new stages in Zurich, Dubai and Monte Carlo in 2026, and then return to China, strengthening the project of internationalization of Italian excellence.

With his entire staff, coordinated by Manuel William Resta, Gianluigi Resta orchestrated every detail of the event, from the catwalk to the after party at The Plein Club, where MAUWI, the evening’s official DJ, animated the evening. With this edition Catwalk Milan reaffirms Italy’s ability to combine fashion, creativity and social responsibility, offering an authentic and contemporary vision of Made in Italy to the entire world.
