Versatile entrepreneur and Milanese brick king
Born in ’81, Sicilian by birth and Milanese by adoption, Damiano Gallo is the esteemed entrepreneur and television producer who also puts his authorship side by side with his face for important formats, aired on the international broadcaster Warner Discovery, devoted to luxury hospitality. He delves (and takes the viewer) inside historic residences that are true gems of both landscape and architectural Italian heritage, and he also does so with an awareness (as the man of institutions that he is) of the precious asset they represent for humanity and beyond. Already a leading figure in his area, with several activities also in the field of wildlife and environmental protection to his credit.

It all starts from the first corporate venture of Porta Nuova Estates, to the current Damiano Gallo Estates, via the boundless passion toward the agriculture and exotic animal sector with Damiano Gallo Farming, contextually also earning him the title of “Real Estate Agent of the VIPs.” But he is also an established writer, his works are essential vademecums for insiders: from “The Real Estate Subsidiary” to (last in chronological order) “Finding a Home”-an insider’s advice for choosing (and buying) the right property for you.
Framed, Gallo is also an ambassador of culture in his region, since he is the creator and artistic director of such kermesses as: Syracuse Book Festival, Piazza Armerina Book, Noto Book Festival and the prestigious Alessandra Appiano Prize.
On the television landscape and as an anchorman, he will establish himself as the true “king of the brick” in 2026, already having no less than five thematic programs on the Discovery Channel under his belt, along with a brand new one on Il Sole 24 Ore TV, with his sixth program coming soon.
Among the most anticipated broadcasts of the VIP real estate agent are such titles as “Who slept in this bed,” co-hosted with Silvana Giacobini and Princess Giacinta Ruspoli, “Win a house by the sea” with Samantha de Grenet, “Win a house in Sicily” with Maria Grazia Cucinotta, “The beauty of brick” with Susanna Messaggio, and “Italy to live in.”
Great creativity for innovative formats that highlight the owners of historic Italian mansions as the true and undisputed protagonists of the program. For the first time, the owners (most of them nobles) have the opportunity to recount their individual life paths and past curiosities related to the various dwellings, often characterized by deep traditions, but with a touch of luxury worthy of our times. Educational approach, but also engaging and fascinating. 36 locations visited so far, including castles, palaces and ancient mansions, and its vision has already been copied by several competing broadcasters, a sign of the success and relevance of forward-thinking ideas in the national broadcasting landscape. Inescapable ability to bring to light the beauty and tales of unique Italian residences in the world, consecrating him – in fact – as an authentic self-made-man of the small screen, capable of attracting the attention of an ever-growing audience.
In an industry where up-and-coming TV productions were rare, Gallo managed to distinguish himself by bringing so many unusual formats to the fore. He also revealed in a recent announcement that he is also working on a film project, having entered into a relevant agreement with Rizzoli to make a short film based on the novel “Agata del vento” by Francesca Maccani.
He is also currently the editor of Dimora Magazine, a journalistic magazine devoted to design that has become a point of reference for many architects. His latest publication (since, among other things, he is also a multifaceted writer) published by Gribaudo of the Feltrinelli group, has already reached 1,000 copies with “Finding a Home,” a vademecum full of real estate advice.
But that is not enough, as his third literary work is forthcoming, published by Epoke, a biography that chronicles a journey through Sicily, his Sicily, exploring the island’s most significant cities, delving into the activities he carried out both on the professional and public fronts.
Dreams in the Drawer: A Journey to My Land
“In recent years, I have been cultivating ambitious dreams and projects, all inspired by the beauty and culture of my beloved Sicily. I am thrilled to announce that I have signed an agreement with Rizzoli to produce a film that will celebrate the essence of my land. This will be Damiano Gallo Productions’ first production, a milestone that marks the beginning of a new creative adventure. Filming will begin in 2026, with the film scheduled for release in 2027, an event that represents not only a dream come true, but also a tribute to the richness of Sicily’s heritage.
In parallel to this film project, I am pleased to announce the upcoming release of my third publication, a book that offers a tour through Sicily as seen through my professional experiences. This work aims to tell not only the beauty of the places, but also the stories and traditions that make them unique.
I am not stopping there, as I have already contracted for two new unreleased television productions. These projects aim to further explore the wonders of Italy and the world of real estate and to share my passion with a wider audience. In addition, I am preparing the first conference dedicated to Sicilian hospitality, an event that will highlight the excellence of the sector and promote a positive and innovative vision of our land.
These dreams and projects are not just personal goals, but represent a commitment to enhance Sicilian culture and its resources. I am excited to pursue these initiatives and contribute, even if in a small way, to the growth and visibility of Sicily in the Italian and international cultural scene.”
