Tomorrow Milan will be back in the international fashion spotlight with the Milan Fashion Show #FashionWeek 2025, which will be broadcast live worldwide on Giancarlo Presutto’s MR TV Models Runway. Not only catwalks and spectacle, but also a strong message: fashion as a universal language of inclusion and as a tool to ignite attention on crucial issues, from the fight against gender violence to the need for a new social responsibility.
Collections: between essence, rebirth and freedom
Opening the scene will be Antonio Tarantino, who will narrate blackness not as color, but as an absolute dimension: “silence, origin, fulfillment. It is the shadow that guards the light, timeless rigor and enigma “. And from that very darkness, an unexpected rose will break through as a promise of hope.

Concita Ties and Pearls, fresh from its success at the Rome Fashion Show, will present “Un’Altra Me”: a collection that will invite rediscovery, made up of unique, versatile and handcrafted garments, balanced between sensuality and awareness. A fashion that will accompany the woman towards a new, authentic, unconstructed self-image.
Saro Mattia Taranto‘s creations will follow, celebrating individuality against all aesthetic cages. His flowing lines and fine fabrics will become manifestos of freedom, breaking down conventions and gender barriers.

The guest of honor for this 2025 edition is Alviero Martini with his ALV (Andare Lontano Viaggiando) by Alviero Martini collection, which will open the show by bringing to the runway a tribute to the great couturiers of the 1950s and 1960s, a celebration of the elegance of those years, where details were paramount, and every accessory enhanced femininity.

Today’s fashion often proposes clothes on the catwalk that “capture the attention” of photographers to end up on the front page of magazines and journals or invade social media and nothing more. The message of ALV by Alviero Martini is precisely an invitation to return to a refined and sensual elegance, without excess.

With NARRè – the duo Giuseppe Modica and Eleonora Schimmenti – Sicilian tradition will be transformed into the avant-garde. A wardrobe that is essential, no gender, modular, sustainable and proudly Made in Sicily.

The words of the protagonists
An emotional remembrance will accompany the words of Steven G. Torrisi, creator of the event: “I am happy to return to Milan for this ninth edition, which, unfortunately, sees the absence of the king of Italian fashion, Giorgio Armani, who recently passed away. I have always believed in synergies and the power of teamwork, and my events are proof of that, between famous maisons and young talents, emerging and eco-sustainable brands. “
A more intimate and sartorial approach will be that of couturier Franco Ciambella, who will present“Essence,” his prêt-à-couture capsule: “It’s like updating what was the beginning of ready-to-wear in Italy. I feel the need to propose tailored, minimal garments that are easy to wear on multiple occasions. Less is more. I find excessive a maximalist and nostalgic prêt-à-porter that no longer corresponds to the common feeling. “

Fashion, beauty and social message
Completing the show will be the creative team composed of FP Group Hair (Barbaro Virgillito, Pietro Ciuccio, Federico Donnarumma), make-up artist Valentina del Vescovo and Jacques Avella’s casting model agency, with graphic direction by Federico Rao.
The ninth edition of the Milano Fashion Show promises to be a stage where fashion will not only be aesthetic, but language, identity and ethical stance. A meeting between tradition and future, between art and responsibility, which tomorrow will bring Milan once again to the center of the world.
