Monaco turns on the lights of Christmas and culture: the Jackson Legacy debuts at the Yacht Club

Some evenings in Monaco have a way all their own of turning into history.
On December 3, in the Ball Room of the Yacht Club, The Monégasque™ Christmas Grand G ala was not just a gala: it became the scene of an announcement destined to go around the world.

Not just a cultural project, but an idea that has the flavor of the unprecedented and the memorable: a traveling museum dedicated to the Jackson family, presented by an emotional Jermaine Jackson, the evening’s guest of honor. Jermaine didn’t just talk: he opened a window on an artistic and family heritage that the public knows only in part.

The Jackson dynasty, with its archives, its documents, its history of voices and musical revolutions, may soon turn into an international traveling exhibition. And Monaco-with its vocation for excellence and its emotional connection to the family-may be the first city in the world to host it.

A rare privilege that testifies to the trust and love the Jacksons have for this part of the Riviera.

Michael Jackson painter: the revelation no one expected

The biggest surprise of the evening, however, came when Jermaine spoke about his brother Michael in an almost unfamiliar capacity: that of a visual artist.
The King of Pop, in the silence of his creative nights, produced more than 200 paintings, about 120 of which will be exhibited at the Munich Art Biennial 2026/2027. Unseen works, including a collaboration with Andy Warhol and a series of portraits of U.S. presidents.
A secret treasure, adding a new chapter to the legend.

The exhibition project will follow a widespread model throughout the territory, with installations occupying symbolic places in the Principality, turning it into a spectacular open-air museum.

About 120 guests-institutional figures, patrons, entrepreneurs and friends of the magazine-celebrated not only the announcement, but also the second anniversary of The Monégasque™, heir to the previous Forbes Monaco and now one of the most influential signatures in the European publishing scene.

Highlights of the evening:

  • Jermaine Jackson ‘s performance of his latest single Do What You Do, which captivated the room
  • the presentation of the new cover dedicated to Louis Ducruet, portrayed as captain of the Barbagiuan, who was greeted by warm applause along with his wife

An interweaving of music, worldliness, culture and future visions that only Monaco can interpret so naturally. While a new musical comedy dedicated to the Jackson family takes shape in Paris, the Principality is bidding to become the European center of gravity of this artistic renaissance.
