A long family tradition of Mady in Italy excellence that of Mario Valentino, as early as the early 1900s his father, Vincenzo Valentino, was already making high quality footwear. In 1952 Mario Valentino was born in Naples; among his innovations were the introduction of the stiletto heel and the women’s moccasin. In his Fall/Winter 2026/27 Footwear collection, thesearch for material stands out.



Pure lines and measured proportions with calibrated scenic accents, accessories, finishes and color contrasts in an understated way. Materials used include tassels and chamois, bright naplak, soft, three-dimensional coco, fluid satin and pony skin in birch, burnt, fondant, plum and purgundy colors alongside lime and teal green to traditional black. Models include Emma and Valentine in croc print, embellished with a gold hourglass heel, Kelly and Crystal with crystals and bangs, Amelia Darsie, Kira and Rea explore ballet flats and ultra-flats deconstructed with flexible constructions and soft materials, while Hazel, Mary and Lexie are sabots and loafers with calibrated proportions and visual lightness. The season is rounded out with a handbag line from mini bags to bucket silhouettes to shoulder bags with materials ranging from coconut prints to soft, wrap-around suede.
