From July 14 to 18, this concept will take center stage during aperitif hours in the courtyards, rooftop terraces, and lounge bars of some of Milan’s most prestigious hotels. Here is the schedule of events from 6 to 9 p.m. for a week of culinary delights, starting July 14: The Westin Palace, Milan—a debut set against the backdrop of the PanEVO terrace. July 15: Park Hyatt Milan—the salon in the heart of the city; July 16: Aethos Milan—contemporary atmosphere and design; July 17: Excelsior Hotel Gallia, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan—the Terrazza Gallia will host the aperitif. Each stop will feature Lorenzo Sirabella, chef at DryMilano, who will serve the restaurant’s signature trio of baked goods: fried montanara, the famous focaccia with vitello tonnato, and the Roman-style margherita—offering an aperitif experience with unexpected pairings in the hotels’ lounges and cocktail bars. Founded with the idea of breaking the rules of the traditional pizzeria, DryMilano has, since 2013, embraced a philosophy based on contrast and complementarity: pizzas characterized by an exceptional dough, topped with seasonal ingredients, and structured cocktails that incorporate elements of the cuisine. Another tantalizing pairing is with champagne: on Thursday, July 16, the store inPiazza XXV Aprile will host “Degusta Pizza e Champagne!”, a tasting experience designed to showcase pizza through premium ingredients and refined pairings. The highlight of the event will be a tasting menu featuring six different pizzas, made with ingredients that symbolize Italian excellence and designed to showcase different interpretations of one of the most beloved dishes in our cuisine. . Rounding out the experience will be two glasses from Piper-Heidsieck: the Champagne Essentiel Extra Brut and the Champagne Rosé Brut, selected to complement and enhance the various tasting options.
